IDLI WITH CHUTNI
Ingrediants for Idli-
1 &1/2 cup urad daal
salt to taste
Turmeric powder one pinch
Ingrediants for chutney-
1/4 coconut
2 green chillies
1 table spoons mustard seed
2 table spoons gram daal
2 table spoons oil
salt to taste
method -
For chutney grate the coconut and grind it with Bengal gram daal and chillies.Heat the oil and mustard seeds.When they crackle add to the mixture.Add salt to taste.
Soak rice and urad daal for over night.Grind both of them separately.Mix together and add salt.Leave for 4-5 hours.
Pour 2 glass of water in idli maker and put on gas burner.Pour the idli dough into the idli stand.After the water comes to boil put stand in idli maker for 10 minutes.Now close the lid and serve hot with chutney.
